Pre-Season Robot Base Protoype
Vex controlled versionDuring the pre-season we prototyped a simple 6-wheel robot base. We hooked up the base to a Vex controller in order to practice driving. The transmissions used standard FRC Kit gears with custom side plates.The speed is controlled with standard FRC Victor 884s and a pair of CIM motors.
cRio controlled versionAfter recieving our new control system early and preforming all the required benchtop tests we swaped out all the Vex components and replaced them with the components of the new control system.
